Crystals can be used for healing, manifesting and balancing the energy centers. There are many ways to add crystals into your daily routine to keep the energy balanced. Keeping your energy balanced help you become more aware of disharmony and how you allocate your energy.
Many different activities can be done with a variety of crystals, use what you have as these are just suggestions. We also have a wide range of crystals available in our shop. These can be done with raw crystals, tumbled stones and crystal healing jewelry.
I have paired an activity with a chakra and a crystal to do each day. I feel these exercises help me control my emotions, especially around others, and think about the effects of my reactions before committing to them.
On Sunday I work with my crown chakra by writing down my plan for the week. This plan includes these activities, work related things, and personal errands. I keep a single terminated clear quartz in my left hand as I write and envision energy from the crystal going out into my week to upkeep the plan.
On Monday I work with my root chakra by stretching or doing a yoga session. When possible I will hold the crystal in either or both hands. Initially I was using a Black Tourmaline crystal but it is currently misplaced. I am now using a Black Obsidian. Sometimes I place it at the top or bottom of my yoga mat as we exchange grounding energy. I may also place it in my pants or shirt pocket or in the crotch of my pants.
On Tuesday I focus on balancing the energy of my sacral chakra, where many emotions hang out. The affirmation for the Sacral Chakra is “I feel.” I write in my journal at a daily rate but on Tuesday I hold a Honey Calcite in my receiving hand and write a few sentences starting with that affirmation phrase. This help me be aware of my emotions and find ways to ensure I express them.
On Wednesday I use a Mookaite Jasper when I lift weights or work out. This is to give my solar plexus an extra energy boost as I exert physical energy. I hold it in my hand as I do reps or place it in a pocket.
On Thursday I hold a Serpentine crystal at my heart chakra when I do my daily breathing exercises. I spend 5-7 minutes inhaling and exhaling through alternating nostrils. This always makes me extremely calm and relaxed.
On Friday I sit with my Throat chakra crystal, Larimar and practice expressing myself through the art of Hip-Hop. The throat chakra being linked to creativity and vocal expression make this a great activity to do with the crystal.
On Saturday i place an Azurite with Malachite crystal onto my forehead, at the third eye, and lay down for a meditation. This meditation could be centered around healing the past through imagination or preparing for future events using intuition.
You may stretch everyday, maybe everyday you do that with the same crystal. Or perform your stretch using a different crystal based on what you are doing earlier or later that day.
Tips
- crystals work best when they can be placed directly on the skin
- your dominant hand projects energy into things(crystals) and your non dominant hand receives energy
- if you’re completely new try adding crystal to activities you already do and notice any differences
- listen to your inner voice and follow you intuition when healing
